This week's questions:
1. What is something you've always wanted to do but are afraid of?
I've toyed with the idea of cutting my hair short just for something new and a symbol of new beginnings in my life but, I don't know if I can pull off the real short look.
2. Where do you see yourself in five years?
source |
Married to the man God has for me with a sweet, little baby...or two, done with my Master's and working in the public health field, helping others to take charge of their health.
Where do I begin? So many goals, hopes and dreams but the main one that I am looking forward to is taking a vacation. This year has been one of the toughest times of my life and sometimes I just want to jump on a plane and get away. I hope to make that happen before December!
4. What are your hopes for your blog?
I hope to reach more women (and people in general ) interested in sharing their stories of triumphs, trials and experiences in their health, fitness and emotional wellness journeys. I also want to be able to open up more about my experiences with PCOS and mental health.
5. Do you always see yourself living in your current town/city?

I am originally from N.Y. and I have lived in Atlanta since I was 15 and I really do love it here! I have thought about one day moving to D.C. or somewhere if a future career opportunity presents itself but, I really can't see myself anywhere else right now. I shall see what happens...
6. What is your morning routine?
A few of the things I indulge in for breakfast |
Right now, I wake up and do some sort of meditation. I pray, read something inspirational and I might listen to some music as I get my day started (I experience anxiety issues in the mornings so this helps a lot). Then, I might workout, take a shower and check emails, make phone calls and do all of the things this job hunt requires. Somewhere in there I fix breakfast which will consist of a smoothie, oatmeal, or egg whites and turkey sausage.
I love Atlanta! And that beach picture definitely looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteI know that feeling of being scared to cut your hair! I have really curly hair and I feel like I would look a dang clown if I cut it to short! Haha!
