Sunday Chronicles: Face Masks, Falcons, and Relaxation

After a hellified week (yes, I made that word up) of work, researching, dealing with obstacles and working out I really look forward to the weekend.  Sadly, I usually still use the weekend to do the aforementioned things but, I take time out to take care of me too.  I do my nails, put on a face mask and do something to my hair. It's amazing how just these three things can make me feel like a new woman again!

This Sunday I am also watching the Falcons game and doing a quick 10-minute ab workout I found on Youtube.  Check it out here

This stuff is the truth! It works wonders for my skin.

This Sunday I am also watching the Falcons game (I root for them because I live in the 'A' but, the NY Giants are my team!!) and doing a quick 10-minute ab workout I found on Youtube.  Check it out here

Always take time out for you. You won't be able to give your best if you don't feel and look your best!

What do you do on the weekends?

Beauty 101: "World's Most Powerful Mask"

In my never ending mission to get that caramel brown, even all over, flawless complexion I used to have I came across Aztec Indian Healing Clay.  I've been using it consistently for the past few weeks and I am so pleased.  Everytime I pass a mirror, I have to stop and admire just how much clearer my skin has become! Some may call it being vain but, I am just so pleased with this stuff.

I mix it with a little apple cider vinegar and mix it until it forms into a smooth paste.  Then I smooth it onto my skin and leave it on for about 15 minutes.  This stuff is the truth! It makes your whole face pulsate letting you know it is getting deep down into those pores.  After I rinse, my face is incredibly soft and smooth.  It really has kept the breakouts away!  I have never used a mask that worked this well.

What's your take on masks? What type of mask do you use?
