It's National Yoga Month! Stretch your way to health

Ever since being introduced to yoga three years ago, I am HOOKED!  I used to think that yoga was just all relaxation and meditation but, I was definitely mistaken.  At the end of my yoga classes I felt like I got a real workout, complete with sweat and the whole nine! September is National Yoga month and I want to encourage everyone to try a yoga routine, or if you already are a 'yoga head', try a new form of yoga this month. 

Yoga has great benefits for the body and mind, including:

  • Greater flexibility
  • Enhanced brain function
  • Lower cholesterol
  • Better skeletal alignment

  1. I've never tried yoga, always wanted to. I attempted pilates to tone up for Jamaica last year and it worked pretty well!

  3. I want so badly to get into yoga...I need to find a studio to get into because trying solo just feels disastrous...I got into it last year though and its so amazingly clarifying. I miss it.
