I don't know about you but, when I am feeling real "plain Jane" and a little down I like to do things to pamper myself. This oftentimes involves me playing in my makeup and looking at makeup video tutorials on Youtube. Or giving myself a mani/pedi. Sometimes, I will even do my hair super fancy just to lounge around and know that I look cute!
Well, almost everyday for the past week or so I have been taking extra care of myself to help get me out of this rut I've been in recently. You may remember my previous post here on finding out how Philip's Milk of Magnesia can be used underneath your makeup to keep your skin looking matte ALL day. As an oily-skin type, I was dying to test it out. Well, I have been trying it out underneath my new makeup foundation, Bare Minerals, and I am ecstatic with the results I have gotten!
It really does keep my oily skin pretty free and clear of that shine I used to get halfway through the day. Also, the Bare Minerals foundation I decided to try is a keeper also. Although, I think that the lady at Ulta did not do a great job of matching me (this shade seems too red for me) so, I will be trying a different shade to see if it works out better. If not, I will have to continue my search for a great foundation. Besides that, I love the light feel of it and how my skin looks!
