Well, almost everyday for the past week or so I have been taking extra care of myself to help get me out of this rut I've been in recently. You may remember my previous post here on finding out how Philip's Milk of Magnesia can be used underneath your makeup to keep your skin looking matte ALL day. As an oily-skin type, I was dying to test it out. Well, I have been trying it out underneath my new makeup foundation, Bare Minerals, and I am ecstatic with the results I have gotten!
It really does keep my oily skin pretty free and clear of that shine I used to get halfway through the day. Also, the Bare Minerals foundation I decided to try is a keeper also. Although, I think that the lady at Ulta did not do a great job of matching me (this shade seems too red for me) so, I will be trying a different shade to see if it works out better. If not, I will have to continue my search for a great foundation. Besides that, I love the light feel of it and how my skin looks!
Have you used Milk of Magnesia as a makeup primer? Have you tried Bare Minerals? What did you think?
Your skin is lookin real purty :o) I am gonna try the milk of magnesia. I have oily skin too & i also use bare minerals foundation. I was not matched correctly either. Wow, we have a lot in common, lol

ReplyDeletemy cousin is oily and LOVES the mineral make-up by IMAN....as you know I am an IMAN fan as it is and the color match is on point!
ReplyDeleteI don't usually wear makeup...but when I do, I never go for the bold look...I like the natural look - light and fresh! This looks amazing! I've been wanting to try this for the longest!
