The Flu Blues



Well, I officially have the flu.  It came out of nowhere really.  I had a slight cold for the past week and a half that I thought was on its way out.  Saturday morning I wake up feeling like straight hell but, I shook it off.  Later that day, after I was shivering uncontrollably I decided to take my temperature and it was 101.8 degrees.

To top it off, I had no one to turn to help me....and I mean NO ONE.  I reached out to people and I could not get in touch with anyone. It is probably THE. WORST. physically and mentally I have felt ever in my life. I  thought I would have to call the ambulance just to get some reprieve.  It was so bad! This whole experience has really opened my eyes to certain people's places in my lives and that's all I can say about that for now.


I tried  to go the natural route with my go-to honey, apple cider vinegar and lemon but, after my fever creeped up to 102.4 I had to act quick.  So, I took DayQuil during the day and NyQuil at night but, they did not alleviate my terrible congestion and I found myself crying every night.  I believe all of these things are happening in my life all at the same time for a good reason and that's all I have to cling to right now.

I'm still battling this flu and very alone feeling so, if you are a praying person I am asking you to send one up for me.


What remedies have worked for you when you've had the cold or flu?

  2. Traditional Medicinal Organic Echinachea Elderberry or the Plus both work great! Sweeten it with either organic Agave Nectar or Organic Sugar or Turbinado. Use organic Lemons. Continue to take a shot glass full of the Brags Organic Raw Apple Cider Vinager with Mother. The drugs such as MyQuil and DayQuil will only weaken your immune system so further use of that is not suggested. Relax and rest and let the herbal teas take affect. You'll be better in a few hours. Also when you regain your appetite get Amy's organic lentil soup. DO NOT EAT ANY DAIRY/MEAT PRODUCTS!!! Plant based foods only. Most importantly Do Not Stress! The Anti-Haters Love You and will continue to help you get better.
